What is body rolling

Sculpt Body Studio’s body rolling machines are designed to massage, recover, and shape each part of your body. Equipped with Collagen infrared heating, our rollers stimulate foam rolling and Lymphatic Drainage massages.

Our rollers are designed with ribbed wooden rollers. Shaped to mimic the fingers of a masseuse and manipulate the lymph to circulate and reduce Fascia.

Sculpt Body Studio machines will guide you through a timed session with special positions to target each area of the body.

Body rolling is a self-myofascial release technique. It can help relieve muscle tightness, soreness, inflammation, & increase your joint range of motion and flexibility.

Body rolling helps roll out your fascia- the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles which can stiffen, and over time form painful knots. It also improves flexibility and circulation.

Body rolling helps increase lymphatic and blood circulation, which brings blood with oxygen into the fat tissue, which in turn will treat cellulite, tighten the skin, and release toxins.

How often should you body roll?

You should start by rolling 2-3 times a week. Once you have rolled 10-12 sessions, we recommend rolling 1-2 a week or after a rigorous workout.

Infrared heating and chromotherapy

Equipped with infrared heating, chromotherapy (light therapy) collagen lamps, and air ionization technology. This has shown to help with detoxification, pain relief, reduction of muscle tension, relaxation, improved circulation, weight loss, skin purification, boosting the immune system & lowering blood pressure.

Our 45 min sessions burn up to 450 calories per roll.

Regular sessions promote the appearance of longer, leaner, and toned muscles. Lymphatic roller sessions will help relax the hips, buttocks, and thighs, which in turn relieves the back pain that most experience.

Much like foam rollers and handheld wooden body rollers, the body receives a strategically pressured roll that can go deep into the muscle tissue, enhancing blood circulation and easing muscular tension as it spins.

Taking the time and prioritizing recovery in between training sessions comes with some real benefits, the most important of which (in our opinion) is injury prevention. Avoiding injury means you can continue to workout without having to take time off, meaning you will be able to stay on track and reach your fitness goals faster!

Using the Body Roller post-exercise and on rest days can speed up sports recovery as it may alleviate muscle fatigue and prevent/reduce DOMS. The machine is also a fantastic way to relieve already sore muscles, improve circulation, and increase mobility.

In addition, using the Body Roller as active recovery gives you that workout buzz many of us crave daily without putting any stress on the body; it’s perfect when your body needs that extra day off.

Body rolling is also a great way to detox the body, as the Body Roller encourages the body’s lymphatic system to work harder to remove toxins, waste, and excessive fluids out of your body.

Using the Body Roller also reduces water retention as lymphatic drainage encourages the body’s natural detoxification process and speeds up the removal of excess fluids.

The thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place.

Fascia takes many forms, from stretchy to stiff. Because it’s so widespread throughout your body, keeping your fascia healthy by rolling is essential. Regularly rolling out your body can reduce cellulite, break down scar tissue, and assist in muscle recovery.
